Top Ten “How I Met Your Mother” Episodes

Arguably the finest US Sit-com since “Friends”, “How I Met Your Mother” came to its end on March 31st and so Ted finally finished telling his kids the incredible story. Throughout its nine years on the air this show has given us brilliant characters, jokes and drama and while the show is by no means perfect and it’s finale may have been controversial, it will always be remembered for its brilliance. And so in the spirit of remembering brilliance I have decided to give you my top ten favourite “How I Met Your Mother” episodes.

Top Ten Lord of the Rings moments

What can you say about The Lord of the Rings trilogy? Cinematic masterpiece, literary masterpiece, the finest fantasy epic ever, the list goes on and on. The only real way to fully appreciate Peter Jackson’s masterful trilogy is to sit down (for a long time) and watch it. With The Hobbit films still being in the process of being put out, Middle-Earth is definitely a place no one will be forgetting any time soon and there are no shortage of reasons to revisit these incredible films that took place over a decade ago. And so I have decided to formulate my top ten favourite moments from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. This was not an easy one.

Top Ten Harry Potter Moments

I couldn’t be running this blog for too long before addressing my love for the Harry Potter franchise. Being born in the mid 90s, I was part of the generation who grew up with these films over their incredible 10 year time span. While I can’t argue that all of these films are absolutely perfect and have no problems, it is still hard to deny the impact they have made on the landscape of the modern film industry. After receiving box office praise, critical praise and having one of the most vast fan-bases ever, it is unlikely that there is a person on the planet who is not aware of the literary and cinematic success that is Harry Potter. And so I have decided to count down my top ten favourite moments of this franchise.
